Minutes of Meeting of Weymouth Board of Commissioners

A meeting of the Weymouth Board of Commissioners was held on April 13th, 2015 with Commissioners Gaudett, Frizzell and Raymond present. Chair, Commissioner Gaudett called the meeting to order at 7.00 PM .

Minutes of Meeting of March 23rd was approved as circulated on motion by Commissioner Raymond and seconded by Commissioner Frizzell.

Business Arising out of the Minutes:
Fire Dept meeting postponed until May meeting.
Commissioner Frizzell has also made contact with NS Power to rectify street light issues. His and Morton Frankland's remain to be rectified.

Financial Reports: An updated financial report was presented by Clerk Treasurer. Year end information will be turned over to auditors, Grant Thornton, in next few days.

Correspondence:
Letter from Canada Revenue Agency outlining criteria for submitting public service body tax claims. To be turned over to village auditors to deal with in conjunction with year end audit.

New Business:

Commissioner Frizzell is to follow up with NS Power on replacement street light for the one destroyed during Topical storm Arthur in July 2014 in front of the residence of Morton Frankland.
Fire Department have requested to be on the agenda for our next meeting.
VON have received approval for increase in rent to accommodate the expanded storage space-$100 per month. Quotes from Richard Johns and J & D Electric were reviewed. Moved by Commissioner Raymond, Seconded by Commissioner Gaudet. Motion carried with dissenting vote by Commissioner Frizzell.

Next meeting date will be May 11th, 2015

There being no further business meeting was adjourned at 7:50 on motion Commissioner Raymond 2nd Commissioner Frizzell.
