The Village Commission will make the minutes of meetings availalbe for viewing after they are approved by the Commission.

A meeting of the Weymouth Board of Commissioners was held on Nov. 7, 2016 with Commissioners gaudet, Frizzell, Raymond, Doucet and Mullen present. Chair, Commissioner Gudett called the meeting to order at 6:58pm.

Also present were two interested citizens.

The minutes of the Oct. 3 meeting were approved on motion by Commissioner Frizzell and seconded by Commissioner Mullen.

Business arising out of the minutes:

- Nurse practitioner - rodent smell has dissipated

- Roof repairs have been completed at a cost of $1,500, less than quotation. Repairs to the bathroom and skylight to be completed asap. Ag board room will be delayed until leak is confirmed to be reparied.

- Health and Safety inspection was completed on Oct. 22nd as planned. A few issues to be dealt with nothing of consequence.

Financial reports: An updated financial report was presented Clerk Treasurer. Acceptance of the report moved by Commissioner Mullen and seconded by Commissioner Frizzzell. Motion carried.

Correspondence:

- E-mail to and from NP office. Bathroom door issues, along with shredder and scales. Health authority will replace scales if necessary, bathroom door issue has been resolved (not sure by whom). Shredder belongs to Dr. Westby and is not part of lease/rental agreement.

- Notice of payment and interest for lower level from Municipal Finance Corp. Clerk advised that only one more payment , due Oct. 2017 remains on that debt.

- Annual renewel of fire vehicle registration - no charge.

New Business:

- Extensive discussion on results and lack of, from the Public Meeting regarding medical care and in particular our desire to have a doctor for our medical clinic. Efforts to continue. Recruiting comittee to remain active. As a result of the calling of the ;ublic meeting the clinic did benefit from an on call doctor from Digby taking patients for one day a week for three weeks. A good start, hopefully this practice can be revisited.

- Discussion on status of burned out property adjacent Sissiboo Place as being unsightly. Ownership is up in the air as the property has been placed for tax sale with apparently no bidders. Current status to be determined before any further action,

- Request from fire dept. for a steet light at the water filling station on the New Road was deferred pending review if the location is within the village limits. Municipality has indicated it is not in their area or responsibility, however questionable if it is in the confines of the village limits, notwithstanding the fact that the Villages owns the property is in question.

Next meeting will be Dec. 5, 2016

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:20pm on motion by Commissioner Frizzle, seconded by Commissioner Doucet.
