Minutes of Meeting of Weymouth Board of Commissioners
The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Village of Weymouth was held on October 7, 2019 in the meeting room at the Medical Centre with Commissioners Gaudett, Raymond, Frizzell, and Mullen present.
Meeting was called to order by the Chair at 6:58 pm.
Minutes of the meeting of September 3rd, 2019, were approved as presented on motion by Commissioner Frizzell and seconded by Commissioner Raymond.
Business Arising out of the Minutes:
-Clerk discussed sidewalk clearing with M Doucette and he is good to go for another year. He feels that BobCat should also be ok with usual maintenance
-Sidewalk brush has been cut back and debris from the hurricane has been clear up.
-Minutes have been posted on the village web site and will be posted once approved on an ongoing basis.

Correspondence:
-email received from our insurance agency regarding Boiler & equipment breakdown coverage that had been questioned by the Fire Dept. As boiler has been removed and remaining equipment value would not exceed our deductible it was moved by Commissioner Raymond, Seconded by Commissioner Frizzell "that we request cancellation of boiler/equipment breakdown coverage". Motion Carried.
-Chair Gaudett read two e-mails from Linda Fraser, CEO Municipality of Digby with up dates and a copy of minutes of the Sept 30th meeting of the Physician Recruitment Committee.

Financial Reports: An updated financial report was presented by Clerk Treasurer. Approved on motion by Commissioner Frizzell, seconded by Commissioner Raymond.
New Business:
- Discussion on the up coming departure of Dr Curtis and our options going forward. A particular concern is the transfer of patient files, electronically or otherwise. In the meantime, efforts are on going to obtain services of physician(s) &/or nurse practitioners for the Weymouth Medical Centre
- Nurse Practitioner Terry O'Connell continues to hold group medical sessions on at least a monthly basic in the Weymouth clinic

Next meeting November 4th. There being no further business meeting was adjourned at 7:45 on motion Commissioner Frizzell, seconded by Commissioner Mullen.
